Taylor James
Taylor James began her career in public-interest law, serving as a staff attorney at Acadiana Legal Services Corporation, where she represented low-income families across the Lafayette area. She clerked for the Honorable Judge Yvette Alexander at Baton Rouge City Court and volunteered with Lafayette Volunteer Lawyers, helping homeless and low-income clients obtain the documents they needed to move forward.
A Lafayette-area native, Taylor earned her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center and her bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
